WIP Character




Some WIP's of a 3D character. Once High poly model is created ill be building a low poly model around it and hopefully be able to get it into CryEngine2.

Darkest Hour Intro Video

This is the intro video for my Crysis mod i did for my university course major project. completed in 4 and a half months where i created over 300 fully original assets, custom animations, cut scenes and objectives. The music was created by Joshua Pike. The only thing that was not re created by me was the characters as i had run out of time to continue working on them by myself. Although i did have custom characters wrking in game.

I realise all the faults in it, some poor texturing and modelling work, animations could have been better, facial animations could have existed....but considering the entire project was for only 4 and half months with a 1 man team working on all the assetts, animations, cutscenes and just to learn the ridiculoulsly complex CryENgine2 im not disappointed with myself.

and i won Red Tribe’s ‘Award of Excellence for Best Real-Time Screen Art’. WooHoo!

Steamcraft

This is steamCraft. A group project that we did in our undergrad course of Games Graphic Design. We created a fully playable RTS game with some RPG properties allowing you to upgrade youvehicle and communicate with other characters throughout the game. For this major project we were awarded ‘Best game; Runner up’ at the end of the year.

I was responsible for the design and conception of the environment, buildings, HUD and vehicles, and moddelled the vehicles, the HUD and some of the environment assetts and buildings.

Finished product for out imaging and animation assignment in my undergraduate course where we had to model a scene in Lightwave.Over all i am pretty happy with the way it turned out. Coulda had more junk lying around the place and more posters.

SHADE


well well well this picture. Originally started with the same body, but he was kneeling on reflected tiles with shadow engulfing him, but after months and months of on and off work i finally gave up. and i actually havent touched it in about 4 months. then one day i thoought odd give it another try, got rid of the tiles and shadow, tried the ink look and BAM pumped the work out in less then an hour. was amazing to have spent so much time on it with no outcome, then just work on it for so little time and have it come out exactly how you wanted it. good feeling lol
